Red Lotus Tours is a vibrant, individualized company that was born out of our profound love of travel and culture. With foreign travel being a catalyst for much of our own personal and spiritual growth, and with over 40 years of combined travel experience, we wanted to share our joy, expertise and insight.

Diana - Director/Tour Leader

Diana is a visionary, a philosopher and a teacher. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Yoga Instructor and Certified Hypnotherapist with an emphasis on personal empowerment and releasing limiting beliefs.

She has been a world traveler for 20+ years,Diana but it is her spiritual journey that has taken her to such places as Buddhist retreats in Nepal, Islamic home stay in Kashmir, trekking in the Caucaus mountains to a historic orthodox church set high above Kasbegi, Georgia, exploring the Mayan pyramids of Guatemala and Belize, hiking El Camino Inca (The Inca Trail) to Machu Picchu, the ancient mystical site of Delphi in Greece, the Khmer temples & palaces of Angkor Wat in Cambodia, and celebrating the Sikh's holy day with thousands of Sikh pilgrims at the Golden Temple in Amritsar, India.

Her mission is to inspire and assist others to discover and embrace their personal power; and to promote understanding and peaceful community amongst cultures. Her vehicle to accomplish this mission is foreign travel, ritual and teaching Self-exploration.

Jenni - Tour Leader

Jenni has a Master’s in Acupuncture, and is a Certified Yoga Instructor.Jenni

She has been traveling the world for over 20 years, often alone, or with other women. Her journeys have taken her across the many landscapes of India, through the Himalayas of Nepal both by foot and by mountain bike, into the historical, fascinating land of Turkey, traversing the Straight of Gibraltar and into the alluring world of Morocco, biking through the Pueblos Blanco’s of Spain, lounging along the gorgeous beaches of Portugal, and immersing herself in the heart of the Incan Empire now known as Peru, as well as Thailand, Greece, Indonesia, Venezuela, and Bolivia, to name a few.

Her training as a healer and teacher along with her wanderlust and enthusiasm for exploring the world, are a powerful, inspirational and motivational combination for guiding you to your edges and beyond.

Rob Cooper - Tour Leader

Rob Cooper, also known as the Former Fat Guy once weighed 475 pounds. Through a system of natural health, whole foods and a basic walking program of 20 minutes a day, lost nearly 300 pounds of fat over 2 and a half years.

RobHe began weight training and put on over 50 pounds of muscle in the years since, lowering his body fat even further.

He’s the author of Fat Loss Fundamentals and 12 Weeks To Better Eating – a step by step guide to improving what and how you eat, one habit at a time, and hosted an internet based talk radio show in 2003 called "The Former Fat Guy Show - Fit Wise & Well".

Rob enjoys being active. He’s a red belt in Taekwondo and has white water rafted in Alberta and British Columbia Canada, and Costa Rica. He summited Mt Kilimanjaro in 2006 and climbed to Mt Everest base camp in the fall of 2008. Rob recently took up skydiving and has logged 40 jumps. He’s 41 years of age at the time of this writing and in his own words – gets younger every day. He lives in Edmonton, Alberta Canada and his website Former Fat Guy has been online since 1995.

"Rob could just as easily be found in a gym, meditating, gone for a walk, reading a book, stepping out the door of an airplane at 13,000 feet and then asking for a big mug of green tea".

His mission is to inspire people to take action on their health and weight by becoming active in fitness, changing their beliefs about what they can accomplish, and becoming more passionate about what they do and who they are; to teach others that anything is possible and nothing happens by accident. Darlene - Photographer/Tour Leader

Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Darlene brings her passion for travel and personal growth to Red Lotus as well as her amazing talent for Darlenecapturing "feelings" in her photography. She is a seasoned traveler having spent time in Mexico, Singapore, Malaysia, Peru, Thailand, New Zealand and Australia. Darlene loves exotic locales, exotic food and experiencing different countries directly through the local people and the cultural arts.

She also enjoys helping others and is honored to be part of Red Lotus. Her other passion is fitness and health, which comes in handy hiking the Andes! Her vision is to share her artistic talents through teaching “the art of seeing”, and to spread love and tolerance through the experience of truly connecting with and understanding people of different cultures.
